3. Service Terms

3.1 Repair Services

  • Estimates: All repair estimates are valid for 30 days
  • Authorization: Work begins only after written or verbal authorization
  • Diagnostic Fee: Non-refundable diagnostic fees apply to all devices
  • Parts: We use genuine or equivalent quality replacement parts
  • Timeline: Repair timeframes are estimates, not guarantees
  • Data: We are not responsible for data loss during repairs

3.2 Sales Terms

  • Pricing: All prices are subject to change without notice
  • Availability: Product availability is not guaranteed
  • Payment: Full payment required before product delivery
  • Delivery: Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees
  • Title Transfer: Title transfers upon full payment receipt

4. Customer Responsibilities

4.1 Information Accuracy

Customers must provide:

  • Accurate contact and billing information
  • Complete description of device issues and symptoms
  • Honest disclosure of previous repair attempts
  • Valid identification when dropping off devices

4.2 Data Backup

Customers are responsible for:

  • Backing up all important data before service
  • Removing confidential or sensitive information
  • Understanding that data loss may occur during repairs
  • Providing necessary passwords or access credentials

4.3 Device Condition

Customers must:

  • Disclose any liquid damage or physical abuse
  • Remove personal items and accessories
  • Provide power adapters and original packaging when available
  • Report theft or loss of devices immediately

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Cash payments (in-store only)
  • Credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, RuPay)
  • Bank transfers and UPI payments
  • Digital wallets (Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay)

5.2 Payment Terms

  • Repairs: Payment due upon service completion
  • Products: Payment required before delivery or pickup
  • Custom Builds: 50% deposit required, balance on completion
  • Large Orders: Payment plans available for orders over ₹50,000

5.3 Late Payments

  • Devices not collected within 30 days may incur storage fees
  • Unclaimed devices after 90 days may be disposed of or sold
  • Outstanding balances may be sent to collections

6. Warranties and Guarantees

6.1 Service Warranties

  • Repair Work: 30-day warranty on labor and parts
  • Custom Builds: 1-year comprehensive warranty
  • Software Services: 15-day warranty on installations
  • Data Recovery: No warranty on success or data integrity

6.2 Product Warranties

  • New Products: Full manufacturer warranty
  • Refurbished Products: 90-day limited warranty
  • Used Products: 30-day limited warranty
  • Custom Components: Individual component warranties apply

6.3 Warranty Limitations

Warranties do not cover:

  • Damage from misuse, abuse, or accidents
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Software conflicts or compatibility issues
  • Damage from power surges or environmental factors
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs by others

7. Liability and Disclaimers

7.1 Limitation of Liability

Global Computer Sales & Service's total liability for any claim shall not exceed:

  • The amount paid for the specific service or product
  • ₹25,000 for any single incident
  • The fair market value of the device at time of service

7.2 Excluded Damages

We are not liable for:

  • Data loss, corruption, or recovery costs
  • Business interruption or lost profits
  • Indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Software licensing or compatibility issues
  • Third-party product defects or failures

7.3 Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures due to:

  • Natural disasters or extreme weather
  • Government regulations or restrictions
  • Supply chain disruptions
  • Labor disputes or strikes
  • Acts of terrorism or civil unrest

Customers retain ownership of:
